Christmas Treasures Shopping List: Treasures Shopping List:<p>​The <a href="/Documents/Christmastreasures2019.pdf">Christmas Treasures sale</a> is an annual event held to give every student an opportunity to  purchase affordable gifts for family members, and as an added bonus, to fundraise for the school. For those that are new to Baxter, it is much like a garage sale. These gifts are donations from our school community of gently used or new items.  Please help your child fill in the list of gift recipients, and return it by Thursday December 12th. Students will have an opportunity to wrap and label their gifts in their classrooms. Garbage Free lunch Free lunch<p>​Every Monday is garbage free lunch. This initiative is to reduce our impact on waste sent to the landfields. Thank you to our Baxter Eco-squad.<br></p>
Christmas Treasures Treasures<p>​For families new to Baxter, <a href="/Documents/Christmas%20Treasures%202019.pdf">Christmas Treasures</a> is our annual sale, that children attend to purchase gifts for their families. New and gently used items are donated from our community, and sorted and packaged by volunteers. Older students then help youner students shop for, and wrap their presents. All items are priced below $2, with most under $1. For dates, times and donation ideas please visit our <a href="/Documents/Christmas%20Treasures%202019.pdf">flyer</a>. <br></p><p>We are also looking for volunteers to support such a great event. <br></p>
Food and Toy Drive and Toy Drive<p>​Baxter Central Public School's Leadership and Eco teams are hosting a food and toy drive between November 18th to December 13th. We are asking for non-perishable food items that will go to the Foodbank in Angus and new unwrapped toys that will go towards the Lion's Hamper in Alliston. <br></p>
